摘要

A pan and tilt function-equipped network camera in which a user can readily view an image after a pan and tilt control request is issued and can easily understand the position of the camera after pan and tilt are operated. When a pan and tilt control request is transmitted from a portable telephone, the network camera delivers only one frame of still image data that is the latest at the time when the pan and tilt control request is received. When the network camera receives the next image acquisition request sent from the portable telephone afterward, the camera delivers frames of still image data which frames include the latest still image data at the time when that next image acquisition request is received, and the portable telephone continuously playbacks the delivered frames of still image data (pseudo moving image).
