PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material for manufacturing a multilayer optical recording medium having thickness accuracy of each layer and all layers with sufficient productivity, wherein wrinkles and the like are prevented from being generated in an optical recording layer at the time of laminating, and to provide a multilayer structure for the optical recording medium, formed by using the sheet material.;SOLUTION: The sheet material for the multilayer optical recording medium for manufacturing the multilayer optical recording medium having a repetition structure wherein a plurality of optical recording layers are laminated, has a three layer structure comprising the optical recording layer including a multiphoton absorbing material, a transparent resin layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, and the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is provided on the outermost side.
