PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a component member for a rainwater storage and penetration tank, which reduces restrictions on a size, and the rainwater storage and penetration tank which is composed of the component member. PSOLUTION: Since a recess-shaped column portion 36 of each component member 20 of the rainwater storage and penetration tank is recessed inward up to the width-direction end of a groove portion 31 so as to narrow the width of the groove portion 31, moment caused by vertical load acting on the lower component member 20 can be suppressed. Consequently, the component member 20 becomes hardly subject to buckling. Additionally, since the moment caused by the vertical load can be suppressed even if the size of the component member 20 is increased, the restrictions on the size of the component member 20 are reduced.
