PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a full color image forming method by which high resolution and high sharpness without color smear can be obtained and sufficient fixability is made possible even with paper having a rough surface by using an intermediate transfer body. PSOLUTION: The full color image forming method using the intermediate transfer body is characterized by that: toner contains at least a binder resin, a colorant and a release agent; the weight average grain size (D 4) of the toner is 2 to 5 μm; the nip pressure at the time of secondary transfer from the intermediate transfer body is 2 to 10 N/cmSP2/SP; the surface smoothness of the transfer member is ≤40S; and the nip pressure of a fixing member is 10 to 50 N/cmSP2/SP.
