PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-alloy power transmission part which improves hard plating of the Al-alloy power transmission part, and which has both fatigue life and wear resistance. ;SOLUTION: In an Al-alloy power transmission part in which parts differed from each other in the requirements-characteristics such as fatigue life and wear resistance exist, a plating film with a hardness (Hv) of 250 or more is provided on the surface. With respect to the plating film hardness (Hv), the residual stress of the plating film surface of a part in which fatigue life is especially required, meets the following equations: plating film hardness (Hv) ≥8 × residual stress (kgf/mm2) of plating film surface + 330, and plating film hardness (Hv) ≥100 × residual stress (kgf/mm2) of plating film surface -500.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
