PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying zinc-based plating to cast iron using an alkaline zinc-based plating bath.;SOLUTION: In the method for applying zinc-based plating to cast iron, as a plating bath, an alkaline zinc-based plating bath comprising zinc ions and alkali hydroxide is used, a part or the whole of the anode is composed of the insoluble one, a part or the whole of the zinc ions is fed from the part other than the anode, further, the plating liquid is continuously or discontinuously fluidized or vibrated, and/or the object to be plated is swung, vibrated or rotated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
