PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce erroneous information extraction due to the matching mistake of a pattern without complicating the description of a pattern for extraction.;SOLUTION: When an extraction object sentence is input to an input/output interface part 11, a morphemic analysis part 13 generates the arrangement of morphemes from the extraction object sentence, and a dependency analysis part 14 generates dependency information from the extraction object sentence. A matching object block preparing part 15 prepares a matching object block based on the dependency information generated by the dependency analysis part 14, and a pattern matching part 16 checks the arrangement of morphemes corresponding to the matching object block with the pattern for matching registered in a pattern database 24. When they are matched, the information is extracted, and any character string other than a tail character string included in the matching object block is deleted from the extraction object sentence.
