PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for bonding a metal plate with which sufficient bonding strength is obtained in a short time.;SOLUTION: An upper shearing blade 3 having a triangular columnar projecting part 30 and a lower shearing blade 4 having a projecting part 40 are applied to the overlapped part of the metal plates 1, 2 to be bonded and pressed into the part obliquely in the thickness direction and by a stroke in such a range that the metal plates 1, 2 are not completely cut off. The operating loci of the upper shearing blade 3 and the lower shearing blade 4 are overlapped so that one falls inside the other shearing blade, the bonding portions are formed by plastic flow deformation with the sheared surfaces of the metal plates 1, 2. At this time, because compressive force acts on the portion to be bonded where is enclosed by the amount of overlap and the compressed portion when the bonding is completed is contracted, the bonding strength is enhanced. Since the projecting parts 30, 40 of the shearing blades produces pressing force by which the sheared surfaces are pressed each other from the slopes, the compressive force which acts on the bonding portion is enhanced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
