Non-uniform view weighted tomosynthesis method and apparatus

The process involves identifying a set of non-uniform weighting factors for back-projection processing of image data representative of X-ray attenuation by a subject of interest at multiple source (12) positions corresponding to multiple projections. The image data is accessed and back-projected by application of the non-uniform weighting factors. A count map representative of counts is generated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a system for processing tomosynthesis image data; and (B) a computer program for processing image data.
