PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion material which achieves a low thermal conductivity κ, and to provide a thermoelectric conversion element using the thermoelectric conversion material and a production process of the thermoelectric conversion material.;SOLUTION: The thermoelectric conversion material has nanoparticles of dispersed material distributed in a mother phase (matrix) of thermoelectric conversion material. In the nano-composite thermoelectric conversion material, the interface between the mother phase of the thermoelectric conversion material and the nanoparticles of the dispersed material has a roughness of ≥0.1 nm.
