PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of remaining life expectancy evaluation for a turbogenerator stator coil.;SOLUTION: A breakdown voltage ν of the turbogenerator stator coil is represented by Weibull distribution. A shape parameter m and a scale parameter η of the Weibull distribution are set as functions of the number of starting x and operating time y. The breakdown strength θ of the stator coil is determined from the Weibull distribution of the breakdown voltage ν of the stator coil. On the basis of the determined breakdown strength θ of the stator coil, the remaining life expectancy of the stator coil is evaluated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
