PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing technology that requires less calculation amount compared with the conventional fluid processing and is able to perform fluid processing in real time in a general processor. PSOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: a plane image determination means 302 for determining a plane image from an image of an object which is formed of a three-dimensional polygon and at least part of which is present in at least one virtual fluid; a fluid force calculation means 304 for calculating a force which the object receives from the virtual fluid by using the plane image; and a rotation moment calculation means 308 for calculating a rotation moment in a case where the object rotates with respect to a straight line by using the plane image determination means 302 for determining a plane image that contains the gravity center of the object, a partial image generation means 306 for generating a partial image by dividing the plane image into two or more parts by using at least one straight line that passes through the gravity center, and the partial image.
