PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile communication system or the like which enables a transmission side to recognize the configuration of an image forming medium with a memory wherein an image based on image data from the transmitting side is formed. PSOLUTION: A facsimile communication system 1 includes a facsimile device 3 of a transmitting side that transmits image data; a facsimile device 5 of a receiving side which forms an image based on the image data on the image forming medium 33A with the memory; and a notifying part 7 which notifies the contents of storage data stored in the memory 39 of the image forming medium with the memory wherein the above image is formed by the facsimile device of the receiving side to the facsimile device of the transmitting side.
