PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit constantly the same contents to a terminal side even if the number and order of the content supplied by a broadcasting station change in a CATV system for receiving broadcasting signals from the broadcasting station for broadcasting data consisting of a plurality of contents, and tuning and demodulating specific contents for retransmitting to the terminal side. SOLUTION: The head end apparatus 10 comprises a tuning section 20 for tuning in on a station and demodulating specific contents that are supplied by BS data broadcasting for retransmission, and a control personal computer 30 that accesses an external database 40 via a modem 32, acquires tuning data required for allowing a receiver 22 in the tuning section 20 to select specific contents, and controls the receiver 22 based on the tuning data, thus retransmitting the desired contents surely even if the number and order of contents being transmitted from a broadcasting station change.
