PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance versatility by making it easy to materialize low impedance, in a high frequency relay in which a contact mechanism is equipped with stationary contacts extending from an insulating base and movable contacts displaced and driven by a drive mechanism, and these stationary contacts and movable contacts are housed in a shield box.;SOLUTION: Side walls 47, 48 which are parallel plates in the shield box for high impedance of 75 Ω are formed along the curved shape of the movable contacts 13, 14 (so as to imitate the curved shape) at the time when they are switched on, in the shield box 12-2 for low impedance of 50 Ω. Accordingly, this high frequency relay can be applied for uses having different impedance only by exchanging the shield member, and general applicability can be enhanced. Since the side walls are formed along the curved shape of the movable contacts, there is no need to make the space between the side wall and the movable contacts unnecessarily small in the vicinity of the nearest contact (the top part of the curve of the movable contact), in comparison with a method of bringing them close to the shield member by level differences, and desired impedance is easily obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
