PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intersection traffic control system capable of achieving efficient traffic control.;SOLUTION: In the intersection traffic control system for controlling the traffic mode of each vehicle for an intersection, a roadside information providing means is installed in an intersection. The roadside information providing means generates entry propriety information for a vehicle approaching to enter the intersection, passively in response to a request for entry by each vehicle received through communication with on-vehicle equipment installed in the vehicle. The entry propriety information is provided to a driver of the vehicle through cooperation between the roadside information providing means and the on-vehicle information providing means installed in the vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
