PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Braille reading sensor and a Braille reader having a high sensor output voltage and thereby, enhancing sensitivity and capable of correctly reading a Braille character.;SOLUTION: The Braille reading sensor has a piezoelectric converting element 16 provided between a first electrode 12 and a second electrode 14. A thin film 18 deformable by an external pressure and having flexibility is provided above the piezoelectric converting element, and an elastic member 22 made of a material softer than the thin film and elastically deformed by deformation of the piezoelectric converting element is provided below the thin film.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
