PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage system of a kitchen etc., which discharges a large amount of water at a time, is constituted by connecting two horizontally-laid pipes to each other, reduces noise during siphon drainage, and in which the upper pipe is arranged with a gradient, and which sucks in air in the upper pipe by the siphonic force of the lower pipe, and eliminates uncomfortable drainage noise.;SOLUTION: This siphon drainage system comprises a drainage standpipe, the horizontally-laid pipes from water-section fittings, and a merging part which is provided with a water head (Hs). In the siphon drainage system, the midway part of the horizontally-laid pipe is connected to the merging parts without merging into the other horizontally-laid pipe. Wastewater from the water-section fittings is received by a large-diameter pipe; the two horizontally-laid pipes are arranged in upper and lower positions of the large-diameter pipe; the downside horizontally-laid pipe is arranged with no gradient; and the upside horizontally-laid pipe is arranged with a slight gradient. A trap is numbered 1; the large-diameter elbow pipe is numbered 2; the horizontally-laid pipes are numbered 3 and 4, respectively; a floor is numbered 5; and (a) represents the gradient.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
