PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously casting molten steel or non- oriented silicon steel sheet and to obtain a cast slab for non-oriented silicon steel sheet with both of which the internal defect in the cast slab or a steel plate caused by internal crack, center segregation, center porosity, etc., by making solidified structure to uniform equiaxial crystal, and the magnetism can be improved by restraining finely dispersed precipitation of MnS after solidification.;SOLUTION: In this method for continuously casting the molten steel 11 for non-oriented silicon steel sheet, the composition of the molten steel 11 for non-oriented silicon steel sheet is adjusted so that the percentage, by weight, of Mg, O, S and Mn contained in the molten steel 11 satisfies the following formulae. The adjusted molten steel 11 is continuously cast. (Mg wt.%-1.5×O wt.%)×(S wt.%)1.2×10-6 and (Mg wt.%-1.5×O wt.%)1/200×(Mn wt.%).
