PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a RAW data processor to perform development processing including monochromatic processing of the processor itself on RAW data that a user designates monochromatic processing on through another processor. PSOLUTION: When a print command for the RAW data is input through a communication interface 69, the processor decides whether data (color information) of a plurality of pixels read out of thumbnail data, screen nail data, or image data included in a simultaneously recorded JPEG file have been subjected to monochromatic processing, and when the data have been subjected to the monochromatic processing, commands are output to a printer unit to generate JPEG-compressed image data by performing development processing including monochromatic processing of a multifunction printer 10 on the read-out RAW data and then to perform print processing based upon the JPEG-compressed image data.
