PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water dispersion type heat-sensitive pressure-sensitive adhesive composition with improved water resistance in which a pressure-sensitive adhesive component is stably dispersed in water without using an emulsifier. ;SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is prepared by reacting a polyol component with a polyisocyanate component, adding a monomer for forming a polymer component which crystallizes at the side chain to the reaction product, neutralizing the carboxyl groups present in the polyol component to disperse the resulting neutralized product in water, carrying out main chain extension by the reaction of the remaining isocyanate groups and polymerization of the monomer, and dispersing the resulting polymer component which crystallizes at the side chain with the resulting urethane polymer into water. Further, in this preparation a heat-sensitive pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is prepared by carrying out main chain extension by the reaction of the remaining isocyanate groups and polymerization of the monomer, then further adding an acrylic monomer to the reaction system to effect polymerization, and dispersing the polymer component which crystallizes at the side chain with the resulting urethane polymer and the resulting acrylic polymer into water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
