PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand spreading system for a water bottom soft ground economically spreading ballasting by a series of process carrying the ballasting by a sand spreader and spreading it over the bottom and to provide a sand spreading method using the same.;SOLUTION: This sand spreading system 1 is mainly constituted of a spreading pontoon 10, the sand spreader 20 provided on the spreading pontoon 10 and spreading the ballasting over the bottom, and a pneumatic pumping plant 30 carrying and feeding the ballasting to the sand spreader 20. The sand spreader 20 is provided with a double barrel type cyclone 40 and a sand removal shoot 50. This constitution can favorably carry the sand including the ballasting using the pneumatic pressure by the pneumatic pumping plant 30 so as to drastically reduce the water to be mixed with the ballasting and economically spread the ballasting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
