PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a rib image from a chest photography image. PSOLUTION: The rib image 200 for which pixel value components contributing to the rib are extracted from the pixel values of pixels constituting the chest photography image 100 is generated, and the rib shapes of the plurality of ribs are extracted from the chest photography image 100 or the rib image 200. On the basis of the rib shape of one rib among the extracted rib shapes of the plurality of ribs and the pixel value within an area of one rib on the rib image 200, a rib model shape made to correspond to the anatomical structure of the rib is set along the rib shape of one rib, and the pixel value of the rib on the chest photography image 100 is estimated on the basis of the set model shape.
