PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent uneven rotation caused by an error of a distance between gear centers in a gear unit.;SOLUTION: The gear unit 1 of an actuator for a printer or the like includes a gear pair composed of a large gear 25 and a small gear 17 having involute tooth profiles. At least one of the large gear and the small gear is a high-tooth gear. When the large gear and the small gear are meshed with each other without backlash, a tip circle of one gear is made contact with an interference point of the other gear, thereby realizing smooth meshing and reducing uneven printing when the gear unit is used in the printer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
