PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating girder material for timberings of underwater and waterborne structures in which a girder material can be simply and easily collected. SOLUTION: The both ends of the girder material body 6a made of a metallic tubular material in a closed sectional shape such as a square pipe and a circular pipe are closed so as not to be inundated by water and to be a structure that is not submerged in the water.
