摘要
This application relates to a Prosthesis and total primary tumor prosthesis revision, to be used in different pathologies including tumors of the proximal end of the femur and / or Septic and / or processes that affect this area with minute fractures of the femur which gathers characteristics; or Best of biofuncionalidad and biocompatibility for the applications mentioned above,A Novel Design of shape and different parts assembled into a unique Piece. This modular prosthesis is presented in three types or Models, must be fixed to the bone by bone Cement.Being modular (Distinctive from any other prosthesis for these applications) offers the possibility of use in different Cutting lengths of the proximal part of the femur, either by a tumor in the proximal End, a Septic process, or a fracture model of this region of the femur. Thus, the proximal part of the femoral prosthesis can have three different Lengths, which helps the Surgeon to the correct determination of the resection of the affected area, contributing to the optimal during the intervention and decreased Surgical time. The proximal part of the Prosthesis has a Flap that covers its distal part of the diaphysis of the femur after resection, which makes it a cortical Thyme, thus helping the non rotating STEM and not by aflojamien longitudinally Moving the Prosthesis To; which helps to prevent the desimplantacion. Its STEM that fits into the medullary canal has slots for fixing the bone into the bone Cement in them; which provides resistance to rotation lock to prevent any loosening.Another important aspect is that the holes in the proximal part of the nerve, which allow the insertion of muscle, thus helping the non desimplantacion by dislocation. This prosthesis combined with femoral Heads of 28 and 32 mm diameters, with three different lengths of Neck through the depth of the femoral Heads of the Cone and Cone Shank or neck of the proximal part where coupling of the femoral Head.
