METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SILICON FIBERS OR A SILICON-BASED MATERIAL, METHOD OF CREATING A CELL ELECTRODE; CELL-DRIVED DEVICE This is a method of making silicon fibers or a silicon-based material, which comprises the steps of etching columns in a substrate and removing them. A battery anode can then be created by using the fibers as an active material in a composite anode electrode.
