OPTICAL FIBER NETWORK SWITCHED FOR AIRPLANE SEATS. The present invention relates to an optical fiber network (1) switched to airplane seats. This network (1) connects the screens (2.1-2. N) of the banks to each other and to a server (4) through an optical fiber (9). This network (1) includes MEMS type optical switches (14.1 - 14.N), with mirrors, these switches (14.1 - 14. N) being positioned perpendicular to each bank. Each switch (14.1-1 4. N) forwards the light beam that circulates in the optical fiber (9) to the screen (2.1-2.N) to which it is connected and reamplifies it in the optical fiber, when it is powered, while that switch (14.1-14. N) directs this light beam directly to the next bank, when it is not fed.
