The present invention relates to an in-situ gel forming injectable depot liquid composition of Olanzapine, the composition comprising: a) Olanzapine; b) a biocompatible, biodegradable polymer; and c) a biocompatible organic solvent, wherein the biocompatible, biodegradable polymer and the organic solvent are present in a ratio of 1:2 to 1:6. The composition forms a gel in-situ after injection and is used for the treatment of psychotic patients.
