USE OF A ZIEGLER-NATTA PROCATALYST CONTAINING A TRANS-ESTERIFICATION PRODUCT OF A LOWER ALCOHOL AND A PHTHALIC ESTER FOR THE PRODUCTION OF REACTOR GRADE THERMOPLASTIC POLYOLEFINS WITH IMPROVED PAINTABILITY
wherein R1 and R2 are independently at least a C5 alkyl under conditions where a transesterification between said C1to C2 alcohol and said dialkylphthalate of formula (I) takes place to form the internal donor c) washing the product of stage b) or d) optionally reacting the product of step c) with TiCI4, as well as reactor grade thermoplastic polyolefins prepared by using the above described Ziegler-Natta procatalyst, use of these reactor grade thermoplastic polyolefins, molded articles produced from them and a method to improve paintability and/or surface quality of reactor grade thermoplastic polyolefin resin articles.
