PREPAID SMART CARD BASED PETROL DISPENSER WITH INBUILT SMART CARD REFILLER RE-FILLER WITH SYSTEM CHECK AND ONLINE ERROR DETECTION

Disclosed herein is a Prepaid smart card based petrol dispenser with inbuilt smart card refiller with inbuilt system check and online error detection for fuel dispenser, which comprises in combination Flow meter, fuel recording module with embedded processor capable of computing and sending signals to display module, a smart card reader capable of physically linking the said embedded processor and a rechargeable smart card, motor and valve control relay and alarm indicator. This smart card based petrol dispenser enables prepayment of fuel through prepaid memory card including online flow meter monitoring, electronics check feature and cut off feature through resident software, which will be most suitable for automated fueling station. Due to interactive software the system can log amount of money for which he wants fuel to be dispensed and systems automatically computes subsequent amount of fuel and displays it through dedicated display. This makes it more communicative with the user and thus user can access the amount of consumption in terms of the currency. Remaining balance however small in terms of currency is returned to the smart card. Apart form fuel dispensing, system checks the flow meter online while dispensing. Any tampering with flow meter is detected and system is halted. System electronics can be checked prior to dispensing by giving a check command and connecting an internal pulse generator to electronics of the system and checking the recoding done by dispensing system.
