The present invention provides a process of preparing a synergistic herbal Ayurvedic ointment. The invention also includes a synergistic herbal Ayurvedic ointment for the treatment of analgesic, rheumatoid arthritis, backache, spondilitis, sprains, joint pains, headache, cold, inflammations and muscular pain. The said synergistic herbal Ayurvedic ointment comprises of, Mahanarayana Thaila, Gandha Thaila, Comiphora Mukul(Gulggulu), Eucalyptus Globulus, Syzygium Aromaticum, Gultheria fragrantissima Wall, Cinnamom Camphora, Mentha Arvensis, White petroleum jelly, Bee Wax and optionally Arnica mother tincture and Bryonia mother tincture.
