the present invention relates to the use of dronedarone, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, one of the, in the preparation of a drug for treating patients with arrhythmias.these patients have an increased level of creatinine due to administration of dronedarone, the creatinine level increased in response to the initiation of treatment with dronedarone. the increase of the creatinine level reached a plateau and is used as a new baseline. this increase is reversible after discontinuation of dronedarone.
