Flexibility assesment apparatus comprising a spine with a measuring ruler, footplates and heel rests

A sit and reach flexibility assessment apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a spine (7) with a measuring rule (12). There are footplates (18 and 19) mounted on each side of the spine (7). The footplates (18 and 19) are rotatable from a stowed position to an open position at right angles to the plane of the spine (7). Heel rests (25 and 26) are connected at the base of the footplates (18 and 19) and rotatable from a stowed position to an open position at right angles to the footplates (18 and 19) and the spine (7). A user can sit with heels in heel rests (25 and 26) and lean forward to move indicator (13) to provide indication of flexibility.
