The invention relates to a stochastic microsensor and to a process for making the same, meant to diagnose cancer at the molecular level, from blood samples, to be employed in the clinical, biomedical and biochemical field. According to the invention, the microsensor consists of a cylindrical body (1) whose top part is provided with a layer (2) of diamond paste modified with porphyrin base and a reference electrode (3) of Ag/AgCl. The claimed process consists in preparing a paste of synthetic single-crystal diamond powder having a particle size of 1 mu m, paraffin oil and porphyrin base at a powder/oil/porphyrin ratio of 10 mg :1 mu l:10 mu l, placing the paste at the top part of a cylindrical vessel and fixing an Ag/AgCl internal electrode therein, thereby obtaining a microsensor that can be employed in the direct blood sample-based diagnosis of cancer, in particular ovarian, breast, gastric and prostate cancer.
