METHOD FOR ENDOSCOPIC REMOVAL OF SYSTEM FOR GASTRIC BANDAGE IN CASE OF BANDAGE MIGRATION INTO LUMEN OF STOMACH

A method for endoscopic removal of the system for gastric bandage in the case of bandage migration into the lumen of the stomach provides for wire insertion via the operating channel of the fibrogastroscope. Upon the second passage of the fibrogastroscope into the stomach along with the traversing wire, the wire is passed behind the bandage wall with the aid of the endoscopic loop inserted via the operating channel of the fibrogastroscope. The soft end of the traversing wire is caught with the endoscopic loop and removed outside via the operating channel of the fibrogastroscope. Two ends of the traversing wire are inserted into the guide tube passed to the site of bandage location. Both ends of the traversing wire are passed into the handle via the opening of the lever. The wall of the bandage is caught with the endoscopic grasper, and by forward movements the bandaging system is moved into the lumen of the stomach and then out of the stomach.
