A corrosion control method for state of fuel-element cladding in the nuclear reactor fuel assembly includes fuel element delay of the fuel assembly in the coolant for predetermined time and determination of fuel-element cladding corrosion state is carried out during fuel element stay in the coolant by means of measuring polarization resistance between an electrode material and the coolant. Two fuel elements are used as electrodes in the fuel assembly. The mass variation of electrodes are calculated after each variation by formula.
