A method for the purification of waste water of electroplating industry comprises mixing of waste water with electrolyte solution containing a complex of chemical components: sodium pyrophosphate (NaPO), sodium metasilicate (NaSiO), caustic ash (NaCO), sodium tripolyphosphate (NaPO) and surfactants in specified ratio to Crwith total concentration of electrolyte within 50100 mg/dm. Electrolysis is carried out with the use of steel electrodes and pressure flotation with specific current rates at the level of 6004000 C/m.
