The invention relates to biology-ecology, in particular to methods for determination of nuclear pollution of fresh-water ichthyofauna. The method prescribes determination of level of maximal radio-nuclide pollution of ichthyofauna of fresh water reservoirs with radio-chemical and/or gamma-spectrometric method, at that as type-indicator for determination of level of pollution of ichthyofauna of water reservoirs with 90Sr by specific activity of the radio-nuclide one uses the rudd, Scardinius erythrophthalmus L., and as type-indicator for determination of level of pollution of ichthyofauna with 137Cs – the perch Perca fluviatilis. For realization of the method one uses samples of the fish-indicator for the rudd – with dimensions 19-22cm, age 5-9 years and weight 130-260g, and for perch – with dimensions 23-30cm, age 5-9 years and weight 200-900g.
