A device for determining the molecular diffusion coefficient of molecular diffusion of liquid mixtures at atmospheric pressure and constant temperature, and a method of obtaining the molecular diffusion coefficient.; Molecular diffusion device (20) to determine the molecular diffusion coefficient of liquid mixtures at constant temperature and atmospheric pressure, and a method for obtaining said coefficient. The device (20) comprises a first tube (4a) containing a first mixture, threaded to a first plate (6), a second pipe (4b) containing a second mixture, threaded to a second plate (8), and a plate to (5) which exerts a torque between the two plates (6, 8) arranged fixed to the second plate (8) and guiding the displacement of the first plate (6) relative to the second plate (8 ) being the second plate (8) fixed between a first position in which the first tube (4a) and the second pipe (4b) are arranged separated and a second position in which the first tube (4a) and the second tube (4b) is arranged opposite.
