Discovery process route for transmitting data from a device (110A) to a device (110D) via multi-hop relay, in a network (300) wireless communication comprising a plurality of devices (110) the method comprising the steps of: broadcasting from the device (110A) discovery request a route for transmitting data to the device (110D), the request including route discovery at least: a first field indicating a limit hop count, a second field indicating a number of slots, X, required for transmitting the data, a third field indicating an ID for the device (110A), and a fourth field indicating an ID for the device (110D); receiving the request for route discovery in an intermediate device, transfer the request route discovery from the intermediate device to the destination device only if the number of available slots is greater than the number of slots indicated in the second field, and receive the device (110A) a response route discovery indicating a route from the device (110A) to the device (110D), the response including route discovery at least a first field indicating a number of hops between the device (110A) and the device (110D).
