A method that facilitates allocating flows to wireless network links within a wireless communication environment, comprising: evaluating a service class related to a flow to determine flow characteristics; analyzing feedback from the wireless network links in a cluster using a link analyzer (208) to identify link characteristics, wherein a mobile device (104, 402, 404) can connect to a wireless network (102 ) by multiple wireless network links; the method being characterized in further comprising assigning the flow to a link selected wireless network of the group based on the flow characteristics, the link characteristics, and at least one property related to the movement of a mobile device selected from the group consisting of: i) a direction of movement, ii) a speed of movement and iii) an acceleration of the mobile device.
