The invention relates to a method and measuring equipment for measuring nitricoxide concentration in exhaled air. In the method, the flow rate of theexhaled air is measured during the exhalation, and the flow resistance isadjusted on the basis of the measured flow rate value such that the flow rateof the exhaled air substantially remains at a predetermined flow rate value.The measuring equipment comprises a flow meter (6) for measuring the air flowrate and a flow rate adjuster (7) for adjusting the flow rate of exhaled airto be substantially of predetermined magnitude during the measurement.
