The present invention relates to compositions for ameliorating the syptoms ofceliac diseaseor gluten sensitive enteropathy comprising egg yolk antibodies against gluten,includinggliadin, high molecular glutenin, low molecular glutenin and mixtures of thethree peptides.The antibodies may be produced by immunizing laying hens with immunogenicpreparationsof gluten and harvesting the eggs and egg yolks.
