The invention relates to an aircraft landing damper comprising a main cylinder in which a rod is mounted to telescopically slide, the damper comprising one or more pneumatic chambers filled with gas, a reserve of hydraulic fluid and means for rolling the hydraulic fluid so that when the damper is depressed, the gas of the pneumatic chamber or chambers is compressed and the hydraulic fluid is rolled, in which the tire chamber or chambers are all contained in one or more cy auxiliary cylinders external to the main cylinder and in each of which a sealed piston is slidably mounted to separate a pneumatic chamber contained in said external auxiliary cylinder from a fluid chamber in fluid communication with the main cylinder. According to the invention, the rolling means are arranged at the inlet of a fluid connection between the main cylinder and the auxiliary cylinder or cylinders.
