A novel multi-gas passive sampler is described, whereby differentcollection media are packed into one passive sampler to collect a varietyof air pollutants (or groups of air pollutants) at the same time. Bycomparison with known commercially available passive samplers - inwhich only a single collection medium is used to collect a single airpollutant of or group of air pollutants - the MGPS is more cost effective,convenient to use and more environment-friendly.
