A computer implemented marketing system disseminates information about aproduct or serviceover a computer network to a plurality of users who are encouraged to providethe marketer withtheir contact information in exchange for the possibility of obtaining areward. Utilizing therelationships among users to encourage them to provide their information in anexponential,potential reward structure, the system contacts a large number of users in ashort time. The userwho wins the reward, and the user's referring party(ies), receive a reward fortheir participationand referrals. The method utilizes a computer network to generateidentification codes for eachuser, validate the information of each user, and select the winner from amongthe referred usersand the winner's referring party(ies).
