In order to reduce acoustic emissions without having to acceptappreciable losses in performance, it is proposed according to the inventionthat thecross-sectional plane E o is located at a relative blade length x/L in therange between0.80 and 0.98, the blade chord t of the aerodynamic profile in the cross-sectional planeE E is at least 60% of the blade chord t of the aerodynamic profile in thecross-sectionalplane E o, and the blade twist .theta. of the aerodynamic profile in the cross-sectional planeE E is greater than the blade twist .theta. of the aerodynamic profile in thecross-sectionalplane E o.
