An arm support structure for a radiation imaging system and a radiation imagingsystem with said arm support structure include: a first erect pole (101); a firstcollimator (108) and a second collimator (108') provided on the first erectpole (101); a mounting bracket; a first detector device and a second detectordevice. The first collimator (108) and the second collimator (108') areprovided symmetrically about a plane (p) between the first collimator (108)and the second collimator (108'), to divide the radiation beam from a radiationsource (106) into a first beam and a second beam emitted symmetrically. The firstdetectordevice and thesecond detector device are provided on the mounting bracketsymmetrically about said plane (p) far from the first collimator (108) and thesecond collimator, to receive the first beam and the second beam separately.
