The invention relates to a biosensor (1) for detecting toxins in a sample, comprising at least one enzyme (2) which is contacted with a sample that is to be tested for the presence of at least one toxin acting as enzyme inhibitor, wherein the at least one enzyme (2) is bonded to a first nucleic acid strand (3), forming an enzyme-nucleic acid complex (23), at least one first measuring point (A) for measuring the activity of the enzyme (2), wherein the enzyme (2) is inhibited by an interaction with the at least one enzyme inhibitor (4), and nucleic acid strands (3') that are arranged on the first measuring point (A) on the biosensor and are complementary to the first nucleic acid strand (3) for a reversible coupling of the enzyme-nucleic acid complex (23).
